mundanities

And a happy international crossdressing day to you all. I am still hoping to make some hamataschen.

I thought I was going to have to report from some distant internet cafe that my computer had decided that instead of operating in the usual way, it would try something new. Upon being activated, it would klaxon indignantly until it was shut off again. On investigation it turns out that this alarming is meant to let you know that you have set the cpu up on an angle and the data is all pooling in the back. I righted things, and here I am, safely ensconced in the Left Luggage Office.

Though I have little enough to say. I am tired and out of spirits (apart from absinthe, which is a little too spirited.) Certain disappointing things have turned out in the eventless to be even more disappointing than I might have expected.

On the other hand, many of the conductor's effects have been moved into the Station. (Her affects will be moved later in special emotional baggage.) A large amount of pizza was earnestly consumed, and clever discussion had. We got our first voicemail for her today. There was merry confusion for a moment amongst the porters (me) about why the library would be holding a book for me at the Hell and Gone Branch, until I Realized.

That's all.

Well, since it's international crossdressing day...

Hey, it's Em again. I've been thinking about sending you this link all day, but decided against it. But since it's IC Day, well, enjoy this entry from the Gallery of Regrettable Food.

If I had known it was International Cross Dressing Day, I would have worn something much shinier today. Alas.

It's also Pi Day. Did everyone celebrate appropriately?

It was Purim, which is a "topsy-turvy" day sort of like April Fool's used to be, and one of the tposy-turvy thigns to do was to reverse the gender of your clothing.

Hat-sahped cookies still pending.

Well, since it's international crossdressing day...the follow up

The context of the write up for the regrettable food is writing as if they are a 1950s male in denial.
