tuesday morning break game
Nov. 7th, 2006 10:52 amIt turns out that
xcaro is also the best roommate in the world, despite living thousands of miles away in another, much louder, country. Happy Midterm Election Day,
xcaro, and good luck.
This means I am unlikely to shut up on LJ for two years. Fair warning.
In honour of this excellence, I have invented a game for today. Do it on your coffee break.
1. Think of a number. Any number. As high or low, fractional or theoretical as you like. Don't show it to me. Got it in mind? Good.
2. Think of a colour. An agonizingly-specific paint chip colour. Burnt Oatmeal. Wisp of Pink. Nightwood Chartreuse. Picture it in your mind. Its tone, its spiritual texture. Got it? Okay.
3. Think of a noun. I'd prefer a nice crunchy abstraction, but if you stray to the concrete or you want to use your favorite multisyllabic medical term, I won't stop you. Arrived upon? Cheers.
4. Put them together. Inflect appropriately. Three thousand six hundred forty-four chrome green disappointments.
5. Write your new conceptual object in the comments. We'll think of them as presents. A bright bouquet for xcaro, to relieve the November bleak.
Or maybe I'll pick through them first.
