Re degree: probably just misplaced it rather than threw it out, but even so, it's in storage in Canada. No one's ever asked me to prove I have a degree, they've all taken my word for it... And now I'm apply for a job where they're asking for proof of credentials! Whoops. No idea where it is. Luckily, my alma mater has (for CDN$15) faxed me a certificate of degree completion. They don't want to send a new degree though.
Other most convincing best episode. Geez, there's like a gazillion. Band Candy, probably. Um, or the one where Buffy's mother dies - that was so well done and really painful. Maybe not convincing of fun-ness, but convincing of brilliance? Oh yes. I guess my selection would depend on who I was trying to convince. Can't remember the name of the episode where Buffy pretends to be the Buffybot to get info from Spike, but I loved that.
Gender in the Buffyverse. When I popped in Season Six, I was glad to see Buffy again but when I was watching it, I felt most happy to see Giles and Spike - of course, who wouldn't be happy to see Giles and Spike in Once More With Feeling, in particular. :) For Angel, yeah, Cordy and Fred are growing on me, but there's a definite lack of strong female chars. I was really hoping that Wesley's girlfriend (name? gone) was going to get developed more, but alas, no. I'm on disc 4 of Season 3 of Angel now.
Off to prepare yet more job applications: today, Barbados Community College and USAID.
