I loved this story. I'd like to see Adrian Tomine re-tell it in a graphic novel. No wait--you do comics! You should totally do a zine based on this story. I've also had common objects that took on a sexual significance not indicated by their shape or content, so I think exploring that would be so interesting for other people too.
